Garbage Delays April 2 & 3
We received notification from Fayette Waste that Thursday and Friday’s pickup routes will be delayed. They asked for residents to put trash out as normal in case they get caught up.

Missing Item: Key found by Social Hall on April 16, 2025
If you attended the earlier Mine Subsidence meeting at our social hall building on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 and lost a key attached to a purple strap, it was turned in to us and you can stop up to retrieve it if you can describe what the actual key part looks like.

Light Up Night
Light Up Night in Washington Township will be held at the Fire Hall (1314 Axton Street, Belle Vernon, PA 15012) on Saturday, December 7th at 6:00 pm.
Election Day: Tuesday, November 5th
Election Day is November 5th! Don’t forget to vote tomorrow. Washington Township voting will take place at the small Washington Township Fire Hall located at 1314 Axton St, Belle Vernon, PA 15012. Voting is from 7 am until 8 pm. Anyone in line as of 8:00 pm on Election Day will be allowed to vote.
Road Paving 11/4 – 11/8
Road paving will begin today, Monday, November 4th. The following roads are to be paved: Long Avenue, Dubrovich Street, Monessen Street, Spiker Avenue, Alice Street, Ada Street, Center Street, Roskovich Street, and Krolik Avenue. Road work will begin November 4th and should be completed by Friday, November 8th.

Road Paving in Washington Township
El Grande Industries, Inc. will begin the paving projects in Washington Township starting the first week of October. We had hoped that these would be done early Summer but due to El Grande’s other projects, our paving was delayed. We will post any updates we have on our Website and new Facebook page.
